Nick Pernokas

Nick was born in Boston, Mass. but headed West at 17 "to play cowboy". He rode bulls , roped, and trained horses. Along the way he became a saddle maker, and also wrote a book on saddles. This led to Nick writing for several magazines. Nick's introduction to acting came by chance when a friend asked him if he'd be interested in playing a cowboy in a western. He did a prolonged "death in the dust" scene with coaching from the director. In effect, it was his first acting lesson ,and he was hooked. Nick did a lot of background work, and met Dennis on the set of "Bail Out". He began taking acting lessons from Dennis to learn the craft ,and better himself ,and his roles. It worked , and Nick has recently appeared in films as diverse as "Jail Wagon", and "Forward Reverse".

Jace Duncan

I like to act, dance, sing, do gymnastics, and do martial arts. I'm on a competitive hip-hop team although I can do contemporary, lyrical, ballet, and jazz as well. I enjoy camping, hiking, shooting guns, being outdoors, and spending time with my family. I hope to be on the big screen one day. I've learned in Dennis O'Neills acting class that acting isn't about just reading lines. It is reacting, you have to be in the scene, you can't be thinking about anything else. You have to be the character, you're not your normal self, you are the character. I've realized that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.

After enrolling my son in acting classes, I found myself interested in everything about film and film making.  So much later in life, but what an incredible discovery. Born in New York City, I spent most of my adult life in Los Angeles where I was surrounded by everything film.  To now find myself actively involved in the industry here, in Texas, is a little bit of a dream-come-true mixed with an ‘am-I-really-doing-this?’ feeling.  It’s been a game changer for me personally and professionally. Starting with commercials was a good introduction to film.  I was cast as lead in my second feature film, Till Death, which was an exciting challenge and an opportunity to surround myself with all aspects of film making from the ground up.  My acting profession has only just begun and I am excited to see where this journey leads me.

My passion for acting started when I was 9 years old. It was the first time I walked into the Sewickley movie theater in Pennsylvania. Although I didn't pursue acting at that time, the desire to act never left me. It wasn't until much later in my life that I had the opportunity to begin an acting career. Projects that I have worked on include film, television, commercials and webisodes. With the support of my friends and family behind me, I am excited to develop my craft and look forward to a rewarding career as an actor.
